This Riad was absolutely amazing, it definitely exceeded our expectations and every time we thought it couldn't get any better, it did! We came to this Riad unexpectedly as where we originally booked another Riad, however they did a mistake with our reservation (Riad La maison Rouge) and transferred us here, which we are very pleased about. Said in particular was a very big part in our holiday, his customer service was shocking (in a good way). When we arrived he gave us many tips for when we go out and gave us a phone where we could contact him in case we got lost or had any queries while we was out, he was also willing at any time to collect us from the taxi drop off point to accompany us back to the Riad. His attention to us was more than 5 stars. Breakfast was really nice and the day that we had an excursion at 8 am, Said ensured that we had breakfast before we left as breakfast is served from 8am. The room was fabulous, very spacious and daily cleaning service. Would definitely return to this Riad!

Being honest, we booked to stay in Medina without much research. New to Morocco or North Africa, we were pretty green. In short, we needed a bit of looking after! The staff at Riad Origines certainly did that. They booked us a great guide to the area on our first morning, an excellent excursion to the Atlas Mountains, they fed us great tagines, and got us out of a scrape when another self-appointed 'guide' walked us to the door and then expected significant payment as a result! The team here are kind and diligent - the Riad itself is clean, relaxing, has great mint tea and a lovely roof terrace where you really feel above the city. We really recommend the establishment.As hinted, we did not always find the area itself easy. Yes it is exciting to be 'authentic' but you do need to know, as we should have, that it's easy to get lost and that any pause to take bearings or check a map will instantly draw offers of 'help', always with the expectation of payment if in any way taken. Outside of this, while hospitality was beyond reproach inside any restaurant, shop etc, there was a lot of being stared at and sized up on the streets. Neither do the taxis go as far as the Riad so the last half km always has to be walked (although motorbikes certainly do nip round the narrow streets and alleys - sometimes at high speed!).Chances are, if you're reading this, you already know a lot of this. If you're up for life in Medina, then Riad Origines will be your best possible hosts.

Our stay at Riad Origines was made very pleasant by out two hosts and the additional staff at the riad. The level of service was very high and the staff was extremely helpful both regarding booking of restaurants, transport, massage and day trips. The Riad was at all times kept very clean and nice. The bathrooms are all different and vary in terms of the degree of privacy, but they are all nice decorated A very good experience and we can only recommend this place for its good position and the welcoming and helpful staff.

This fantastic Little Hotel tucked down a little back Street is about a 20 minute walk from the main souks and square. There's nowhere to park, so hiring a car is not a good idea. The staff were fantastic and will meet you from the drop off point, as well as take you there for any planned activities. They will also book these for you. On arrival, they gave us a couple of maps of the city and gave us a few tips to save us some money/keep us safe.The roof terrace is a lovely little place to relax, as is the little court yard pool. The food in the hotel must be ordered in advance but is very tasty and filling. The spa treatments must also be booked in advance but are well worth it. Will definitely visit again if we come back to Marrakech!Thanks for a great time guys!

We had a nice stay here in April 2015. The riad is beatifully decorated, mixing traditional Moroccan decor with modern elements. Staff is friendly and takes good care of you as a guest - and the kitchen serves up delicious tagine dishes and amazing moroccan breakfast pancakes. The roof terrace is the cherry on top, very romantic in the evening...perfect for proposals!It is worth ordering airport transfer through the riad, as it is difficult to find. However our driver did not show up /we did not find him, so we took a taxi and some of the local boys showed us the way.This is not recommended, but it worked out in the end - remember to have local currency on hand to tip the boys if you end up in the same situation.

Adil and Saed were just wonderful. My friend and I went for a weekend getaway, and we had the best time. Everything was spotless, food was delicious and the staff were so helpful! We were given directions and explanations, felt like royalty. We booked our excursions through the Riad, as well as our spa treatments. There is literally nothing I could complain about and would highly recommend this lovely place for your trip. Located close to the Souks and taxis, pretty much everything is in walking distance. THank you Adil and Saed for takign such good care of us! :)

The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. They did everything for us above and beyond. Not only organizing all the activities, reservations, transportation, my birthday party, performers, delicious meals but also help us shopping and exploring the city. I really feel like the princess at the riad like home. Thank you so so much for the wonderful week and we will be back! <3
